The mystery of Loka (the Vedic cosmography)

Picture: Ancestor worship. According to Veda, it is not for the deceased relatives, it is  acknowledgement of our existence by remembering the revered knowledgeable pitas.

Thousands of year ago, according to Veda, the entire creation is divided scientifically.  Integrally this tri division is well-known as Trilok. The theory has been revealed by the Vedic sages. Super consciously these three lokas are acknowledged as ‘supremacy awareness’ as Amruta consciousness, Physical consciousness and life consciousness.

The term ‘Loka’ explicitly indicates the realm where the Self-revelation take place. This is the ‘knowledge space’ where the natural life pledges.

The Bhuloka(earth) is also estranged into three layers. Bhu Loka, Bhubah Loka, Swah Loka. The Antariksha Loka( atmosphere)  is also divided into three layers. Mahah Loka, Janahloka, Tapah Loka. The saptaloka is the alliance of all of the above lokas.

Bhuloka:

The Bhuloka is jam-packed with game of life and death. The fear, the inevitable disease is everlasting feature here with unavoidable gravitational force. Once yogi leaves the bhuloka with ‘expanded life consciousness’  reaches, into the fourth stage of consciousness. This is the place where birth is premeditated by the atman.

The Janaloka is known as the field of ‘eternal creation’. The ever-prevailing actuality is the divine appearances of this Loka. Fire depicts is the symbol of Jana Loka. To symbolize the truth of janaloka, in every yajna, the misapprehensions surrender to the truth of fire.

By dissolving the illusion the yogi attains the fifth stage of holy consciousness. The realization enters into the ‘Jana Loka’.

Crossing the intellect and attaining spiritual supremacy, yogi enters into the tapah Loka. Yogi become Tapas. Our entire life flow encircled with the power of creation. That creative power (Sabita) will hold us until last the drift of extension.
